Meet Your Dentist
Dr. Jeff Kim
Dr. Jeff Kim, also known as Dr. JK, is the founder and lead dentist at The Curve Dentistry! As a Los Angeles native, his path to dentistry began in elementary school when a family friend, who was a dentist, performed a tongue-tie release surgery on him. This procedure significantly improved Dr. Kim's speech and sparked his interest in dentistry. From that moment, he knew he wanted to become a dentist and make a similar impact on the lives of others.
Dr. Kim completed his undergraduate studies at UCLA, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then pursued his dental education at USC's Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry, where he excelled academically and made the Dean's List. During his time in school, Dr. Kim demonstrated his commitment to community service by serving as Director of the USC Mobile Clinic and founding the Global Dental Brigades chapter at UCLA. Today, he maintains active memberships in the California Dental Association (CDA) and American Dental Association (ADA) to stay up to date with the latest developments in dental care.

The Invisalign Treatment Process
Consultation & Exam
During your first visit, your doctor will take a look at your bite and smile to determine if Invisalign is the right option for you. This is also a great opportunity for you to ask any questions that you may have about your smile, Invisalign, or other treatment options.
Aligner Pick Up
Once you’re approved for treatment, we will take scans or impressions of your teeth to ensure your Invisalign trays fit perfectly. When your aligners arrive at our office, you’ll come and pick them up to begin your treatment.
Check-ins
Once you’re approved for treatment, we will take scans or impressions of your teeth to ensure your Every six weeks or so, you’ll come back to our office to pick up your next few sets of aligners. Every treatment plan is different, so this amount of time may vary based on your needs. These check-ins are essential to ensure your treatment is on track and that your Invisalign trays are fitting properly.

Dr. Blalock grew up on a beef cattle farm in Crossville, TN. The time he spent working on the farm taught Dr. Blalock valuable problem-solving skills and a good work ethic. After Dr. Blalock suffered a dental injury when a cow’s hoof contacted his teeth, his dentist repaired his smile and sparked a fascination for the art of dentistry. Because of that experience, Dr. Blalock realized his calling was to become a dentist. He loves that dental work gives him the ability to work creatively with his hands while interacting with patients and making a positive impact on their lives.
Dr. Blalock graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tennessee Tech University with an undergraduate degree in health science biology. He went on to graduate with honors from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry
